This game is honestly the best visual novel I've played so far. The story line is so unique and I love the character development. I can't wait to see more games by you guys. :))
i just started 5 mins ago and im already greeted with a catching intro. No jokes but the intro got me so hyped , i felt my pulse beating so hard. It felt like an unseen force was holding me down. I was paralysed with excitement. ITS JUST A WONDERFUL FEELING. And as soon as i ended the tutorial(which was helpful btw because some wouldn't do so), im greeted, again, with a touching backstory. I believe in balance and equality so it really feels gooooood to play and experience a story that revolves around my belief. Thank you so much! For the artwork, story... for EVERY click that has taken place to make this magnificent artwork! <3
Hello Dicesuki! First of all, what a magnificent game. I really enjoy it and this is the most interesting, amazing, visual novel i ever had (even for free, which helps a whole lot for students like me which can't afford to pay.... yet.)
Though i want to ask, each time i fast-forwarded the text (from the beginning to the first choice) there's always a warning saying that the script is broken or something like that, and makes the possible chance of infinite loop. It shows that i can either rollback, ignore, accept or quit the game. I decided to ignore, hoping it would never harm the game. Is it okay, though?
Secondly, will there be any epilogue? Can i ask when will be the release date? I can't wait!
Thanks Dicesuki! Love your work a whole damn lotsssss! ;;
Hello, Chrystoelle! Thank you so much for playing Cinderella Phenomenon! We're sorry to hear that you have encountered the bug. It was something we have fixed in the first version of the game which was built on a different version of the engine. Ignoring this error may allow you to move forward. If you could name which part of the script you found this error, it would help. Secondly, yes! There will definitely be an epilogue. You can stay up to date with the #CPFandisk hashtag on our Twitter or #CP Fandisk on Tumblr. Thank you again for your support. Have a nice day!
So i took the screenshot when the error happened, and apparently it's not just me who encountered this bug (i did introduce the game to my friends and they encountered this kind of bug too). I did choose to ignore though, glad if it doesn't harm the game in any how. Truly support for your next work (if there's any) and will be very looking forward for the epilogues! <3
I'm Sasha Mocha and I'm a budding Youtuber and I'm planning to record the gameplay of your game (Cinderella Phenomenon), post it on my Youtube channel. I'm here to ask for your permission to monetize (Allowing Youtube to put ads on) the video. Is it okay?
Let me just say, before now there has NEVER been a game where every single route interested me. But my god, Cinderella Phenomenon has done it so well. Every route is thoughtful and immersive in its own right, and the buildup of twists has me shook every single time I play a new route. Even though I grew emotionally attached to Karma (my beautiful sword-wielding child), I never felt distracted from the other routes because one route was better than another (they were all equally phenomenal). Also, I really, really appreciate that the general storyline varies for each character. Even in paid games, it’s often the same plot but just with a different love interest, but the weaving of stories is genuinely remarkable in this game. It was so fun to just try and piece together each character’s secrets, especially because the main character (in all her angst) is remarkably likable. There is never a moment where she feels like just another plot device, but rather she’s this calm, collected enigma who no one can seem to figure out. And, even from the beginning of the story her woes are so beautifully justified that it’s hard not to want to take her side in every argument, because you know what she truly struggles with even when she keeps a calm face for the other characters. She’s so stunningly dynamic and relatable that she very well may be my favorite main character of all time. That, and the fact that the game plays the concept of right/wrong SO WELL because in reality, everyone believes they are in the right and justified in their actions. Even with characters that are all too easy to hate, they still have these well thought out weaknesses that make them hard to despise completely. It’s also a cool concept that just based on who the main character chooses to pair with at the beginning has such a large effect on who lives/who dies, the ultimate villain, etc. I literally can’t sing enough praises for this game. I’m an English major and a total literature nerd and because of that reading into plot has become second nature, and thus a lot of times plot gets boring because it’s too generic/just filler/etc. I can say with confidence that there was never a single moment in the entire game where I felt bored or uninterested. I pride myself on being able to see twists coming, and there were multiple times in every route where I would gasp aloud and laugh with shock because every reveal is just THAT good. I love that every piece of information is actually relevant to the plot and not just filler, and I especially love all the clever little references to the original Brothers Grimm and other German tales. Sorry for the excited little rant, but I hope it just shows how much I truly appreciate all the work put into this game. You should be very proud of such an amazing masterpiece. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I really love this visual novel, it's my favorite for sure!! but there is a problem, I finished two of the three routes(Karma's and Rod's and both in good ending) but Waltz's and Fritz's routes are still not opened yet. What do I have to do to open them?

Why is happens this error at the ending of game on android? I am unable to get the unlockable characters, i really love this game and i want Fritz and Waltz but it doesnt save my progress at the end and get that "exceptional error". Please help me with that i really want to play all routes 😢
Hello there. We have no power over android bugs since we weren't the ones who converted it. Like everyone else, all we can do is wait for them to fix those bugs. What we can suggest right now is to play the pc versions instead. Our apologies for this. :(
This is hands-down the best visual novel I've played. The story kept me entertained through all five routes, the love interests were all endearing in their different ways, and the side characters had interesting stories and personality quirks of their own. (You know a game has great characters when even the inanimate objects have personality - who knew I could love a broom this much?) Best of all, the protagonist was fascinating in her own right. I have never been so invested in the main character of a visual novel before. Lucette is strikingly original, and watching her grow and change in each of the story routes was incredibly refreshing.
I was pleasantly surprised that there were no love interests or routes that I disliked, even if I didn't love them all equally. My favorite love interest was Karma (I love redheads, pretty boys, and boys with swords, and it doesn't hurt that Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale), but I think Waltz's route was the most satisfying. That was the route that tied up all the loose plot elements, so definitely save Waltz for last.
There are a few typos here and there, but a lot fewer than I was expecting. When I think about how many commercial visual novels desperately need better editing, that's pretty impressive.
My one complaint about Cinderella Phenomenon is how heteronormative it is. It would have been nice to see at least one female love interest. Or failing that, I would have liked to see even the possibility of same-sex relationships acknowledged in the game. (For instance, a bisexual woman could have broken Karma's curse by falling in love with the woman he pretends to be and remaining in love once she learns he's a man, but this possibility is never even hinted at.) On the plus side, the writer(s) nimbly side-stepped opportunities for transphobic, homophobic, or misogynistic humor relating to Karma's cross-dressing, and I commend them for that.
I just finished everyone’s route and honestly, I loved this. It’s been a long since a story has left me feeling so content and happy. It’s so well paced and the MC is so well written.
Waltz’s was definitely my favourite, without a doubt.
I literally just recently made an itch.io account just to tell you this:
This game. Is. FRICKING. and when I say, FRICKING, I mean F R I C K I N G , amazing.
I've never felt so invested in a free VN in all my life before. This will probably be my number one for a while.
Not only is it free and beautifully-made, it also holds beautiful art, lovely music, and lovable characters to go with. I especially loved the Main Character, as she started off imperfectly, with the whole "I'm-Cheerful-And-Adored-By-Everyone-Because-I'm-Cute-And-Perfect" gimmick that most heroines tend to showcase. I loved that she was stoic and bitter at first, with reasonable intentions of course, and I loved how she was close-minded-turned-to-character-development. It's lovely.
I loved the rest of the characters too. I love the story line, not to mention the beautiful, beautiful, soundtrack and art. It's free, beautifully-crafted, and overall spectacular. Breath-taking.
Looking SOOOO forward to your future games, Dicesuki. Best otome game of the year and possibly the best otome game ever. Please make more <3
I know this might have already been said but... the premise is just... something that has been needed for SO LONG in these VN games.
The MC is not instantly "incredibly beautiful perfect and beloved by everyone - and all the guys want her and all the girls wanna be her" from the get go.
This is a fabulous alt-universe that asks: "What if Cinderella was a spoiled, emo, narrow-minded, stuck-up, narcissistic b**** that needs to grow the eff up?" - I just started, still in the prologue... and have never been so HAPPY to watch the MC get herself thrown a nasty curveball (the aforementioned 'curse' in the description).
I can't wait to see how she grows (oh, gawd, I hope so. If not ... it makes the whole game kiiinda pointless...)
My favourite character was definitely Waltz, followed by Rod! I usually like one character from the start and continue with his route, thinking it'd be the best, but this game is one of the few that actually made me feel interested in all of the characters' backstories, simply because all of them were unique in their own way.Great job! :)
Wow, this visual novel is easily one of my absolute FAVOURITES!!! I haven't even finished any of the endings yet, but I love it!! I was pretty reluctant to play it at the start, but I am SO GLAD I kept playing! I LOVE IT!!!!
I'm not gonna lie, this is easily one of the best VN games ever. As in EVER. seriously, I even prefer it to big name games like Amnesia and Hakuoki. Really, it's THAT good!
I've literally just finished the game, and I have to say, I was absolutely mindblown.
I'm normally not a frequent otome game-player, but seriously, this is making me reconsider. I've fallen in love with every single character and their plot lines, just seriously, wow. I'm high-key obsessed and I can't stop playing it even after finishing it. I wouldn't stop until I got all the achievements, and now all I want to do is get a sequel, like, seriously. This is such good content!! I'm so glad that this game is free to play, otherwise I would've missed out.
This game is pretty much everything I wish in an otome.
It has a main character that isn't necessarily an action girl, but still far from the helpless blank-slate maidens you'd normally see in this genre. Lucette is a breath of fresh air in the midst of otome heroines with little to no personality or personal goals.
It has a GREAT supporting cast, which consists of several lovely ladies that have huge roles in the story.
Each love interest has a different storyline, and thanks to the protagonist having a backstory and personality, each of them has at least one thing the protagonist can relate to.
The artwork is beautiful. All the love interests are incredibly attractive. My only complaint is that some of the proportions seem off, but the coloring pretty much covers that.
The music is also delightful and well-suited to the story. The PV song is also quite pleasant and even managed to get stuck in my head for quite some time.
This is really high quality free stuff. I can't recommend it enough.
The story is so great! We just barely got to chapter 1 and it's amazing how well made this game is! Check out our playthrough here! *im forcing my boyfriend to play it lol
OH. MY. FUCKING. GODDDDD. I downloaded the game yesterday, and I just finished it today. It's soooo good, I just couldn't stay away from it! Somehow I also regret finishing this so early! :( I feel so empty now after finishing such a great visual novel. I can't believe that this is free! Anyways...
First of all the characters. The characters are each so unique! The character designs are so beautiful (I need fanarts of this game ughhh <3). Each character had an interesting backstory, and their curse works so well with their story and personality. The development between the main character and the love interest you choose also surely feels mutual and genuine. When I first started Rod's route (Also the route I started with, because I played according to your suggested order.), I thought that it would just be one of those typical otomes where the cold hearted guy turns nice overnight (just exaggeration). I was wronggg. He turned nicer and sweeter at a steady and humanly pace for someone who used to resent someone because of how coldly they treated their family. Lucette was also a great main character. She really did have to feel the struggle of acting nice, since she's been a cold-hearted person for who knows how long. I also feel attached to all the characters, even the antagonists. If there's one I did feel sad (But I had no problem with this), it was Fritz. I felt bad for Fritz.... He was portrayed as an supporting antagonist in all the routes (Well technically it's Varg, but hey... Varg is Fritz). I feel so bad for our handsome and kind knight, Fritz! </3 Though, I did enjoy Varg's character as well. A complaint I had was that Fritz didn't get much screen time as I thought, even in his own route! I was also feeling that Rod's good ending felt a bit lacking :/ But it's pretty understanding since they're step siblings... :/
Here's my order of character best to least : Fritz, Rod, Waltz, Karma & Rod (I still love all of them though <3)
Now for the art: Ughhh the art is so gud omfg. The art is so lovely, and just makes me fall more in love with the characters with the damn good cgs. They're sooo handsome XD
The music. I loveeeee the music! Definitely has one of my favorite soundtracks. The sad osts are well made, and can definitely break your heart... Especially when certain characters die </3 The music definitely sets the mood! The timing for each ost that needs to be played for certain parts are also great!
The story. Hohoho, I found the storyline to be interesting and amazing! The fairy tale curse is quite brilliant, I never actually would have thought of an interesting idea like this. And as I stated in my first paragraph, I finished this withing a span of two days. Usually me finishing VNs take longer than just 2 days. But I had to keep on going.... I wanted to find out more and more. I wanted to read more! The story is just so good omg. I found Fritz's route to be best storywise imo.
I had so much fun, I would definitely recommend this VN to people. My rating for this VN is definitely a solid 10/10. I feel so lucky knowing this was freeee. I expected less, but oh boy. Definitely totally beyond my expectations. I hope you guys make more Visual Novels <3
~faints~ HOLY CRAP!! I've done Karma, Rod and Waltz so far and have yet to finish with a good ending in the first run through. But, that kinda makes it better. The stories are so engaging and I love how each ending differs as you go along.
OK so I've done all three main story's and I've gotten both good and bad endings but I didn't get the good ending emblems for rod and rumple what am I not doing right??
This game spoiled me. I have trouble finding another dating sim that is equally as good/ From the graphics to the 60+ Cgs (I am greedy about my Cgs,) everything was amazing. This is the first visual novel that actually made me care for everyone in the story. Every route had a guy who made you understand what challenges they have to go through. Take Rod for example. Almost every dating sim will have this one guy who is cold towards you. What made Rod stand out was that he had a reason for not liking you. The protagonist was so cold she severed the bond with him and the rest of her family. Because she hurt him and his sister, he grew to dislike her which made the fix-your-family thing actually fun to do. Another route is Rumpel. He isn't just some flirt, but he is also way too kind to the point to becomes a flaw and he taught me that being too kind might be your downfall.
The main character is also great. I loved her character development. Honestly when she learned that she had to be nice to get her curse broken, I just assumed, "Oh that's easy. She will just start being nice and have her curse broken in a week." Dicesuki proved me wrong. It actually showed how hard it was for the protagonist to stop being cold. It didn't switch her personality like a light switch. Instead, her had her do steps towards being a good person.
Again this game met my high standards and I want Dicesuki to do another visual novel that matches this game's style.
I feel you! It's so hard to find dating sims that are this good. Scenes do not feel forced at all and it's just--amazing. Rod is my favorite so far (I have yet to go through Fritz and Waltz route--and I find Waltz the most interesting) and it's super satisfying to see a character who hates you because of something other than "I'm insecure, and I've been hurt in the past mysteriously".
And I usually hate characters who are "too good" like Rumpel, because I always feel like they're made just to be liked by the players because they're "too pure for this world" and have no real depth. But what made Rumpel so different from other characters from other VNs is that his "ultra kindness" actually hurts someone else other than just himself. It's an actual flaw that isn't just self-destructive for the main character to "fix". Someone actually got sick and had their reputation ruined for it.
This is such an amazing game! I so far have gotten through both endings for Rod and Karma (Karma being my favorite!), and I'm in the middle of Rumpel. But, I stopped playing for two days, and my game got undownloaded, and now it won't download! :(((
I'm not sure how it happened, but I really hope I don't lose my progress. EDIT** I got the game to download, but I lost all of my progress, and I don't have the option to slip or fast forward... do you know what I could do?
Hello! Thank you for playing Cinderella Phenomenon. We're glad you're enjoying it so far.
The first version was built in a different version of our game engine so the game files may have not been carried over. Though, there is still the possibility of the dialogue you have already read being skippable so you could catch up to where you last left-off. Otherwise, open the Settings menu. Click "All" under Skip so that Skip Mode would skip what you have read and haven't read. If you don't want Skip Mode to stop after every choice, click "Skip" under the After Choices section. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for making this game, it really was amazing! The art is just gorgeous, and I really liked all the stories. Also thanks for recommending the playing order, I'm glad I decided to stick to it more or less.
I went for Rod first. What I liked about his route was how the princess managed to mend what she'd done wrong with her stepfamily. The real Cinderella tale. :) Second I decided to get Mr. Casanova out of the way. While I really liked his appearance in his introduction CG, as soon as he spoke, I facedesked. But then he was a pleasant surprise, having much more to him than his flirting. :) I was debating whether to save our crossdresser for last or not, but guessed it would be better to save the locked paths for last. He really charmed me (psst, his curse was based on my favorite fairytale! I feel kind of ashamed I didn't realize what was going on with the curse, even though I had a hunch about who he is), and I really thought he'd stay my favorite till the end. His bad end really is tragic though. :( Well, that's what I thought at that moment. Fritz's route easily surpassed it. That route, as a whole, was so dark, and it made me cry three times. :( (And we didn't even get to see him a lot... btw I would have never guessed his fairytale, I was convinced he's be the white swan.) Then, Waltz... I'm really happy I played his route last, and that I played without RCI and got the bad ending first. Finishing the game with the true, "fairytale" happy ending was really satisfying :) His route still gave me some surprises, mostly about the past. And it was just so sweet, I was happy that everything went just right, and he really was so sweet as well, I came to love him a lot. Sso much that I can't choose a favorite anymore between Karma and Waltz. :)
One more thing I wanted to say, you touched on some possibly sensitive topics, romancing a step-brother and someone trapped as a child, but you handled it carefully and nicely!
So congratulations and thank you again for this great work, I really had fun reading this past week. I'm looking forward to see more VNs from you :)
When a game on Itch.io is better than some high priced vns. I'll happily recommend this to anyone. Great art, story, characters - clearly a ot of hard work and love went into this. Really happy I found it.
This game is so amazing and I'm so happy my friend showed it to me! I just had one question because one day when I opened it up all of my saves disappeared and now I can't load anything anymore :/ but I still love this game regardless!
Thank you for playing Cinderella Phenomenon. We don't have a proper explanation for what caused this unless you have deleted yoursave files by going through the folders or clicking the "X". If you didn't, there's a possibility that you can easily skip the dialogue you have already read by clicking the skip button that should not be faded. If it still is, kindly open settings. Click "All" under Skip section. It should skip all lines you have read and haven't read. It will definitely stop at the choice menus. Unless you also clicked "Skip" under After Choices in settings, you can click the skip button again until you reach the last scene you've read. Let us know if the problem persists.
The game was amazingly well made. I liked the fact that Lucette wasn't the typical protagonist. She was mean and cold and at first, you kinda dislike her but as the story goes on, you learn why she is like that and actually start to sympathize with her.
All of the characters were well written and likable, which isn't something that is always easy to do so congratulation on that. The story just draws you in, helped of course with the amazing backgrounds and character design.
Honestly, one of the best visual novels I've played and I could not have asked for more. Can't wait to see what you will create next!

This is one of the best, most heartwarming and heart-wrenching games I've ever played. 10/10 recommend.
I really love this visual novel, it's my favorite for sure!! but there is a problem, I finished two of the three routes(Karma's and Rod's and both in good ending) but Waltz's and Fritz's routes are still not opened yet. What do I have to do to open them?
May I ask what platform you played the game?
Windows. If you asked that.
We have observed that this bug occurs frequently when the game is downloaded from the itch.io platform. You may play the game on Steam since the unlocked endings and achievements carry over. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Let us know if any more bugs have persisted. Please and thank you.
I did download this game on Steam, though.
you need to finish 3 routes
oh, dear! We're very sorry to hear that. We will look into it as soon as we can. This is the first time we've heard that someone couldn't move forward through the game on Steam. Thank you again. Have a nice day!

Yes, it's completely free to play. Just choose "No thanks, just take me to the downloads" when you click "Download now" :)
Hi, I was just wondering when the epilogue comes out here or on Steam :)??
We'll definitely release it here and hopefully on Steam as well :)
I LOOOOOVE this so far. However, How do i get a good ending for Karma. Our unfinished love story is killing me.... \
Thank you for making such an amazing game with brilliant graphics and music
I loved the game and all the routes! Will the soundtrack be up for purchase in the future? Can't wait for the next game!
Thank you! The soundtrack for CP will not be available for purchase since the bgm we used were royalty free music. Perhaps for our future games. :)

Please make more <3
took me 27 hours but I finally completed all of the routes! amazing game, I hold this game very dear to me!
Perfect game. Interesting stories, beautiful drawings, cool animations and sounds, nice music. Very good idea about curses based on fairytailes
Oh my! The story sure is picking up. Rod hates us!! </3
The stories are so engaging and I love how each ending differs as you go along.
made my boyfriend do horrible voice acting with me! You should check this hilarious video out.
OK so I've done all three main story's and I've gotten both good and bad endings but I didn't get the good ending emblems for rod and rumple what am I not doing right??
If you get all the crystals for the right choices, then you'll have definitely a good ending.
[Spoilers? Duh?]
Otherwise, amazing game! 11/10
Hello!
Sorry for the trouble! After restarting my computer and re-opening and closing the game a few times, all the saves came back! :D
Thank you so much!
Here you go. This is the ending song though. :)
